Help Where can i get a damn throttle cable!!!

Hi, my throttle has become very tight to the point where the car is not really drivable, ive tried spraying wd40 etc on parts of it which seemed to help a bit but it soon goes really tight again. Ive called all the motor factors in the area (Lincoln) and no one stocks them! We dont have an alfa main dealer here either. Some one said to try the fiat dealer which i will if have too but just wondered if anyone knows where i can buy one online or if any other vehicles are fitted with the same throttle cable. Its for my 1996 Spider 2ltr T-Spark.

I think they are unavailable.. may be wrong.. so it may be a case of fix the one you have or get a new one made up.

It may not be the throttle cables...there are 2 - one from the pedal to a quadrant on the engine side of the bulkhead, and one from the quadrant to the throttle body.....

The quadrant has been known to get sticky on its pivot...unfortunately as indicated above, getting to it to lubricate it (or change the cable) is difficult because its behind the inlet plenum.
