Idea Carbon fibre prep

Hi Guys, ive just recieved my 3M DI-NOC carbon fibre wrap and going to wrap some little bits on the inside of the car, like around the window button and end of gear knob etc, not using alot just want to tidy up the real tatty areas in the car and cant be bothered to respray like my fasia as took forever to sand and prep etc,

before i start just wanted abit of advise,

do i need a primer? if so whats it called? cant find any?

also thinking about wrapping the ash tray (burns, not be me ) but not sure how to, would the wrap strech with the heat gun? down the slop and then across and around?

any advise would be grateful

will post pics when done, hoping it will look good along with my refurbed rosso red fasia

First of all, DON'T use a heatgun, it's too hot, use your Mrs hairdryer, it's more than enough, Di-noc will bend around anything, i wrapped my GTV key in the stuff with ease!
You'll need the official 3M primer if you're using it on tight corners etc, But for flat surfaces you'll be fine
