Help - Low speed fan resistors - phase 2
I changed my thermostat and flushed the system about a month ago as the temp was hardly moving of the 50 marker, this sorted the temp out and made its go up past 90 then drop suddenly to probably 70.
On inspecting the radiator I could see it was green, the fins blocked, corroded badly and leaking slightly, so I replaced it today, temp is now running slightly lower when stable probably at about 80, but it now gradually goes up to 100+ then drops quickly back to 80.
I think the low speed fan is not coming on (if I have one, it a year 2000 Ph 2). I read that there are resistors that might be faulty, can anyone help ? Where are they, what do they look like and how can I check whether they work?
Also what temp should the low and high speed fans kick in?
