i didn't do it myself as I don't have the tools, the cost of all the tools plus cambelt kit was close to the same as getting a stamp in the book.
I know we all make mistakes, but I specifically told him he left bolts loose the first time, then the second time...loose bolts, no attempt to even put it in..one bolt I can understand...but its not!
also, IF an alfa specialist doesn't know what Polyflex bushes are on the dogbone mount, he's no specialist. he even commented on dropping the shims when he done the job, at that point he should have found it and put it back on! but instead I had nasty noises on the way home.
I will call him tomorrow and talk it all over, Im not happy with the quality of work received for the money I spent and I want it resolved, simple as that. If it happened once I would see no point in making the post, but its not, and its more than one mistake!
I will ask for a new tensioner and pulleys to be fitted as they are not right, so I will ask him to get them in and I will take another day off work to drop the car over and I will ask if I can hang around to oversee the work and give it an inspection ( for what its worth ).
I dont think I am being unreasonable here am I?
