Cat Bypass Pipe
I have recently bought a Cat bypass pipe but the one I received didn't look like it would fit my car as the one on mine has 2 brackets at the manifold end and I'm sure I saw a hole for a lambda sensor. My car is a 2001 model GTV V6
I contacted the guy I bought it from and he told me to post it back to him. He has just told emailed me and said that the one I have ordered is the one for the 2001 model . Here is the email he sent me
"If you have the later 2001 model then the de cat pipe we sent is the correct one it has no bracket or lambda boss, if you have the later model you should have 2, 3 bolt flange connections from your downpipes onto the CAT and a 3 bolt flange connection onto the exhaust. The earlier model has 2 bolt flange connections with bracket and lambda sensor"
Thing is I am away with work at the minute but I am 99% sure when I looked at mine it had 2, 3 bolt flange connections from your downpipes onto the CAT and a 3 bolt flange connection onto the exhaust as he said but it also had the bracket and lambda sensor??
I am away with work at the minute and will be for the next 3 - 4 weeks so I can't just look myself. Can anyone shed some light on this??
