Puddle lights are stuck on
Can someone please tell me the best way to switch off the puddle lights to stop them killing my latest brand new battery fitted today ?
I had two batteries go dead so after trying things like removing the stereo and disconnecting the aerial I called a mobile auto electrician. He looked at it and said that the boot light was stuck on so he had taken the bulb out. The battery was dead again by this point and despite a recharge it then went dead again today after trying to get it to the tyre place for a couple of rears. I thought this was probably because it had previously been fully discharged and was no longer taking a proper charge so they fitted another new battery. When they tested it with the meter however when the ignition was switched off it dropped and continued to drop all the time.
Just been to my brothers in it and as it is dark have noticed that the door puddle lights are stuck on. I can't believe I haven't spotted this before to be honest but now I have a new battery going dead outside and need to find a way to stop the drain before it kills this latest battery ? Can anyone help ?
Thanks to everyone for reading and any help gratefully received !
