Brown 'master' key - is it really 1.5k for a new one??
I know someone who's trying to sell their GTV and were going to trade it in against another car from a dealer (work forces it unfortunately) only to be told that they have to provide the brown 'master' key or the deal's off. Alfa are apparently quoting 1,500 quid to provide a new one !!
Anyone know if there is a cheaper alternative here - somewhere that can provide these? or is it just another Alfa parts con which you have to put up with??

Just looking through the old threads and noticed this. I just bought a GTV with no master key. According to the Alfa service centre near me there is no way to get a replacement. Instead you have to replace all the locks, immobiliser and ECU and get a new set of keys issued. Ring round for prices as I found that they vary quite a bit.
