Yep absolute rubbish, considering the Slave cylinder is £35 new, why bother replacing seals etc, Next thing is this freezing b ollox, Brake fluid has a freezing point of around -60 if i remember rightly and there's an international law on the freezing point due to the necessity that it's used for of around -20c.
It's scarey sometimes with people selling cars that hide underlying problems, when i was first buying my gtv, i looked at several, one was a rosso red that was hidden away in a forest somewhere with a cut 'n' shut workshop run by pikeys, the lacquer was completely gone, even though in the photos it looked mint (turnt out to be a different car)
The guy threw the keys at me to try it out, started to whine it over and he shouts oh yeah no fuel in the tank, wtf!
It's literally a 30 min job to replace the slave, i hope it doesn't turn out that the synchro's are smashed from where they may have driven without clutch!
How much were they asking?
You've just been done by a Twinny!
