GTV passenger pressure pad ?

Hi to all could someone confirm if a 1997 phase 1 2ltr twin spark should have a pressure pad in the passenger seat assembly please. I have been looking to sort out my airbag light in this wonderful weather that we have had.
Now thats commitment ? or stupidity.
Any way i could see one connector under each seat that goes to the pretensioners and a plug all on its own coming from underneath the carpet not connected to anything on the passenger side.
I have found the ECU diagnostic 3 pin plug under rear seat so i know its not for that any ideas please.
ECU serial number is 60625181
The car has steering wheel bag
Bag above passenger glove box
Two pretensioners
if someone can confirm that there should be a pressure pad i know exactly what could be causing red light of anger.
Many thanks to all and have a great Christmas.

If it did have one, maybe the seatbelt light in the car would be real and not just a flashing reminder when you start the car lol!

most likely cause of the airbag light is a dodgy connection on one of the plugs under the seats. a lot of people cut them out and either fit different connectors, or solder them together and heat shrink them. it is certainly what i will be doing on the 145, although the passenger side has already been done........
i might look for some decent in line connectors so that i can still whip the seats out when i need to
