Cost of V6 oil cooler pipe renewal

Hey folks, i'd like to know of the rough cost of getting these bits replaced including the labour... i was advised some months ago by the local alfa specialist who said they would need doing at some point though i unfortunately have my eyes on a new set of alloys. Obviously the pipes come first but what kind of money are we talking for this job?

thanks in adv.

I seem to recall the hoses being about 40 quid each - but you are likely to need a new oil cooler as well(about 130).
Steel hoses on aluminium rad doesnt mix to well and they corrode. If your lucky you may be able to cut the connections off

yes definitely worth trying to cut the nuts off the ends of the pipes rather than undoing them. If you or your garage just put a spanner on and heave the rad will shear and need replacing too, as said above - hope you have a friendly garage who will take this advice on board. It is also a long job because it is very difficult to reach the connections onto the back of the engine. Mine cost 500 three years ago althought that included 117 + VAT for the cooler rad and 62 + VAT for recovering the car to the garage. and it was a warranty claim ...
