Anyone know if the FREE version of Fiat ECU scan will do my airbag light? I've got the cable and will modify it, however just need to work out whether this will do it or not?

I'm assuming not, hence why they do a 50 version however I could be wrong.

Try to google for FiatEcuScan 1.6. This version does not require registration and works very well.

Managed to clear the airbag this morning - had two errors ECU supply too low and Driver Belt pretensioner. However didn't manage to get it to connect to the ECU to run the diag tests. Anyone else managed this?

Yes worked for me, but didn't learn much from it. Nice to play with though.
