Hi guys need a little help here.
I was driving home last night and my 1998 spider just lost power and stopped as i was going up a large hill.
The petrol light was on so I phoned my mate to get my some fuel, I fill the car up and turned the key. the car turns very fasts like its just the starting motor.
I asked my mate to help me turn the car so it was facing down the hill, its about a mile long. I put the car in 2nd and tried to bump started it, the engine engaged but didnt fire up.
so i had to tow it back to my house, again i started to bump it several time during the 10 mile journey home and nothing.
my question is
1 is it a blocked fuel line, if so how do i un-block it?
2 is there any leads i need to check to see if theres a bad connection?
3 what else could it be
when i got home i took off the cover to see if the cam belt was on (it was) and it turns round when i turn the key.
