I was wondering about the hoovering and the rain. It rains here like a good un. if you have the cold air pipe through one of the low down vents doesnt it just suck in rain as well as air , which just gets the filer wet.
I use my car in all weathers. Does anyone with a CDA run in all weathers or just sunny day, non puddle days?? a
I have a carbon CDA in the shed somewhere was considering putting it back on. When I bought my car it had the CDA mounted but used a K&N style filter instead. Didn't even notice the CDA untill I was doing some engine bay work and didn't realize what it was until I took it off. It needs a filter clean and re-oil. May consider sending it to a new home in exchange for a standard airbox assembly. As I said I use the car eveyday and for now I would prefer to change the element every 6 months its more practical for me.
