Its always the same, wish I had never started this!
Fitted a s/h panel and it was a nightmare , however I had been thinking the window had been going up too hard against the top rubber seal. You could feel the inner window shell push inward against your leg. So what I did is slacken off the middle of three bolts at each end of the top of the door frame. Having what I thought was lessening the pressure by slackening and tightening this middle bolt,I tried the door and everything seemed fine.
However, it was not to be, having replaced the inner panel which is not that easy, the door was shut and the window was worse , catching the rubber frame and coming into too much contact with the upper frame.
I s there a better method of releasing this pressure other than the middle nut or do I release this pressure by releasing the frame bolts at the bottom which go through the bottom frame of glass.
Its def. trial than error , more trial than error!
