GTV V6 one of the best kept secrets in motoring.

Having stuck my GTV V6 away for winter i thought i'd give her a blast on Sunday as weather was cold but fine. So unwraped her, fired her up (never tire of the sound the quad pipes make on start up). Then i went for a drive just allowing her to warm up at her own steady pace.

WOW. Only been 2 weeks since i put her away and baring in mind my dialy driver is another Alfa V6 saloon, but still, shes is one perfect car.

So i know i'm preaching to the converted here but felt i wanted to share the absolute beauty of these cars. Defo a future classic, so balanced such a great FWD car. Love it.

Best kept secret, oh yes.

I love my GTV V6. It is not the most nimble of cars but even in FWD it handles great. Some days I wish I could move to the top of a local mountain so that I could enjoy the car every time I left home rather than sit in mind numbing traffic (mind numbing may also be caused by exhaust leak )

Yeah I always notice everything like its the first time you drive the car after a week or so. First thing I notice is the all leather feel and flat taught handling at the front and just the sheer aura and experience of an Italian Exotic.

I have to agree the Alfa V6 (with Quad exit Ragazzon's) is automotive aural porn. Unfortunatley my Spider has been in hibernation for a year now - 6 months of my enforced break from driving still to go. I do visit her on a regular basis on the pretence of keeping the battery conditioned etc. It's all lies, it's purely to get me fix of that intoxicating sound :-) love, love, love

Just looking at the V6 3.0 liter engine is pure pornography. Those lovely chrome manifolds not to mention the beautifully designed pininfarina body matched with teledials and spoiler - complete.
