Spider TS cold-start problem
Hi, the first frost since buying my 2001 Spider TS and it completely refused to start.
The battery has, or had plenty of power, the engine cranked continuously, but refused to fire at all.
The only engine related issue is a suspect thermostat, as the engine tends to run on the cool side, although I suspect that this would have no affect on starting from cold.
I've covered approximately 4 thousand miles in the last month, I drove it yesterday without any sign of a problem, so any helpful pointers would be very welcome.
I've seen a couple of references to fuel switches under the passenger seat, but can't see why this would be an issue.
