Hmm. Had this problem with my first GTV back in the late 90s - just bought another one and had forgotten about it. Hoping that the carport will do the job this time around...but if not lock de-icer did the trick in the morning if I was ready to wait 10 minutes. If I remembered to stick it in there the night before, all was well in the morning. As for the old boy, I was always afraid of developing a freeze bond - beyond even my GTV dedication.

Halfords do a tiny lock de-icer spray, handy to keep in a jacket pocket. Until you inevitably leave your jacket in the car....

(it doesnt mist up after driving off burtonpj, it feels a bit odd though as the temp in the car drops over the first mile or so and were used to the opposite happening)
You are lucky then (or I'm unlucky!), 155 used to mist up so I gave up with the heater.
Never had a GTV winter, so looking er......forward to it.

Obvious really, move further south less chance of hard frost, and stick car in garage overnight or cover over if
left outside.
