This is my first post here, however, I'm not new to this site and forum, been reading it quite a bit, but was unable to resolve my problem, although there are more than enough threads regarding similar problems.
So, here's what's bothering me:
The car I have is a 1999 GTV 2.0 Twin Spark with the newer version of the engine, the one with 114kW power.
The problem I have is, that the car does not start or starts very lazy, if I may put it that way, but that only occurs when the car is just warm, or, should I say "warmish".
That is, starting OK in the morning, driving a short distance (app. 1.5 miles) then stopping and voila - the problem occurs. Engine temperature is always around 70C, or little above that, according to the temperature gauge inside the car when the problem occurs.
When the car is cold, or hot, for that mater, it starts fine. The problem only occurs when the above criteria is met.
Fuel pump is OK, battery is fine, the main culprit - the crankshaft RPM sensor was replaced yesterday, yet the problem remains.
Diagnostics show no problems whatsoever, the car runs just fine, does not cut out while driving, everything seems OK.
So, please guys, give me some advice, because this problem now is really getting on my nerves and I can't enjoy my car like the way I usually do, when it has no problems.
Thanks in advance, and excuse my mistakes with the language if any.
Cheers from Bulgaria.
