I've not had chance to buy the bump stops etc because I'm too busy putting out other fires, I will go back and try to get them at that price though.
Right, Rear suspension woes, help or advice appreciated.
I gave all the parts, swing arms, spring pans and upper arms to a friend who had a press, he's managed to push most of the bushes out, the rest I cut out myself. However, although I'm delighted with the results of my blasted and painted parts, I noticed one of the arms is a little out of line.
Basically one of the swinging arms has been bent on the press, see attached pic. (my friend didn't admit to it, I spotted it when I got back.)
Options? I don't want to buy a new one, that’s why I went to the trouble of refurbing them! I've already bought new bushes and ball joints!
Tried heating it, put a scissor jack in but don't think I got it hot enough, let it cool and it just bent back.
I was thinking maybe oxy acetylene might do the job, or maybe someone has a spare arm they could do without? Suggestions welcome.
