If you can lay jour hands on a 155 Q4 drive train it can be bolt in without major modifications.
I will suggest that you use the 155 Q4 rear suspension with it.
Unfortunately they are rare in SA. I know of two but the owner doesn’t want to part with one of them.
Vor a V6 4x4 it would be better to use q4 from 164, gearbox will be direct fit. And rear part like you said from 155 q4.
I have a better idea, modify the firewall and tunnel, mount the engine longitudinaly and use gearbox from a rwd car, then custom made propshaft and rear from 155 q4. A rwd GTV 916 mmmmm
Wow! That is some idea.
Tell me, for which GTV would I use the 155 gearbox, and for which the 164 ?
The reason I ask is that of course, such a modification would only make sense if you used a V6 powered monster. And you would want it to have 6 gears, so you can have fast acceleration, and a high top speed (because you would of course tune the engine..)
Also, isn't the 155Q4s drive chain the same as in the Lancia Integrale, and the suspension the same as in the regular 155s ?
The 164Q4 has its own unique setup, dident it ?
