Poor brakes after bleeding system...??
I've just rebuilt the brakes on my V6.
It has goodridge hoses all round, and new discs and pads.
As I had all the pipework apart the system ran dry. I've manually pumped the system through until there was no more air coming through, but there is a lot of pedal travel, and no real bite.
I used my easibleed on it the second time round, and went through about another 2 litres of fluid on all 4 corners. I got no air at all, just nice clean fluid coming through.
The brakes are no better. If I get upto about 30 and stamp on the brakes it just slows to a stop, and no abs kicking in. There is still a lot of pedal travel too.
I've rebuilt enough brakes over the years, and some from scratch making up a full car set of copper brake lines. Am I missing something? Where could there be an air lock, I've put enough fluid through it and there's definitley no leaks.
Has anyone else had this problem?
