fuel guage is just a guide.. mine drops like a stone for the last quarter..

top it 200 miles it up again and see how much you have put in.. divide 200 by how much you have put in (in litres).. that gives you miles per litre.. convert to gallons.. (why do we live in a country that measures roads in miles and fuel in litres ??)

Dave.........As I was intrigued by your thread, I put 4 gallons of unleaded in my twinny, and have spent the last couple of days driving it very harshly (many a wheel spin etc) and even driving like this, my twinny managed 25mpg!
I should also add that the twinny is not standard (de-cat, free flow exhaust, and pipercross filter etc.

Sorry Dave, but Your fuel comsumption is a real shock/issue.

Yeah, the more fun you have the more it costs you!

A TS should be a lot more fuel efficient though. But I'd first suspect the fuel guage. My fuel guage (on a V6) goes up slightly if I go through bends as well, and on Fridays when my tank is near empty, as I pull out of my sloping driveway, the fuel light goes on but I still do the 80km (50 mi) round trip to work and back. The light then comes on again a few miles from home.
Sounds about right. If i drive economicly i manage 450km and i think even 500km are doable but where is the fun in that.
