First I would have checked is the distributor cap and rotor then ignition coil/module then
the crankshaft sensor (strange that they have broken so often for you) is your battery OK ?
I had an non starter that cranked over but the voltage to the ecus did drop so they didnt
start/work properly, new battery and problem solved, funnily that battery have afterwards
been used in a Volvo for 1,5 year now without any problem even in the recent cold winter.
No cable to related parts that have came off ? or any fuse blown ?
If it is the ignition module that is broken here is a list of cars that use that module,
OE numbers and manufacturer numbers.
