I picked mine up yesterday, I had rear arms rebushed with Powerflex, front strut tops replaced, Bilstein/ Eibachs all round, 15mm spacers all round and I'm running 147 wheels with 215/ 45's on. I get some rubbage still, even tho it rides a lot better.
I don't know if any bumpstops have been fitted at all (tbh I need a REALLY good look around under there...) but the rear certainly rubs under rear compression (mid-corner bumps etc) even at moderate speeds; it looks like on exactly that piece of folded steel at the rear of the wheel arch, but I also have witness marks on the inner arch..
The front geometry is all over the place (said Garage were supposed to get the car aligned on it's wheels, inc. spacers; BE CAREFUL, people! They took it to another Garage with 'Laser alignment gear'..they couldn't do the rear ('Too complicated' apparently...), 'did' the front; I'm driving a car straight down the road with my hands at 20 to 2 to go straight...
From the front, the left side wheel seems to have more camber than the right, and the car 'wanders' right when 'going'straight, hands light on the wheel..
Mate, I'm going to find SOMEONE IN OXON/ WARKS/ BUCKS/ ANYWHERE?? that is CAPABLE of properly aligning a 916; my advice would be to do the same!
