I've decided to go the whole nine yards and LED convert everything, Just awaiting the supplier to drop off some High Lux output 10mm units, roughly £0.30p each at trade,
Once the led's have arrived, i'll lay the candy over the rear light unit, I can't see a reason why the police would pull someone over, I've seen countless cars with black tints that are much darker, A copper would pull someone for black lights not red imho,
But they can't do anything unless they get an independent examiner to testify the regs and LUX output on the rear lights. As long as they are in full working order with the colour shining through then there shouldn't be a problem,
Most lexus chav lights don't have reflectors built in, they just have that shiny plastic chrome to add the bling factor!
I'm sure the MOT states that a car only needs 1 red reflector which measures at least 2 inches in width? Just to give caution that it's parked and you can spot it at night.
You've just been done by a Twinny!
