seized belt idler
Last week I noted a different tone from the engine - high pitched, varied with revs, then later that day sounded like lolipop stick in spokes after jumping in to drive the 8 miles home.
Was advised not to drive it, and after a visit today the idler pulley is seized - very front pulley, outer pulley looking in the engine bay from the front.
So new pulley time, is it best to do a new belt too? Probably I guess..
Guestimate on parts costs would be nice if anyone has rough figures.
