I used to run and restore triumph TR6's ....nineteen seventies..worth a fortune.. eighties you could pick up a cheap one for a few hundred quid...I used to use them as skips!.. bottomed out in the late eighties, early nineties... now look at them! none left to restore .. they all live in air conditioned garages
some cars do it.. some dont.... I think the gtv will become a sought after classic.. mines 14 and its still the best looking car in the car park.. they are relatively rare now.. hundreds will be scrapped.. providing spares for the rest..get even more rare.. and like dave says in ten years all that will be left are the really good ones in the hands of guys who know what they're doing.. and then you end up not being able to afford to buy your own car.. In 1974 I bought an E type roadster for 400 quid.. back then it was just a ten year old thirsty/rusty car..
my neighbour complained about me parking it next to his brand new Ford Capri...jeeezus!!
