Oh dear just my luck:
collect car from my mechanic check under bonnet, looks good. Drive it to karting night, all good then give it some oats when a R32 pulls besides me and , opps, hits high revs and dies! roll to stop, injector light on, turn off and on again and drive off with injector light on. Aim to crawl of duel carridgeway.
Anyway drives fine under 4k but realise when hitting 4k revs, shes dies with injector light, MAF? hmmm she was perfect before pipercross. have reciept for new MAF recently. ok, worried.
Get to karting and brothers have a look and to my disbeleif , and this is where i need to know how badly wrong this is, he has put it on wrong way round, and taken the MAF off from where it was, and placed it on the end pointing down towards the grill, then placed the cold air pipe pointing near to the mesh on the MAF!!!!!!!
So taken it back to give him chance to rectify it. problem is i thing he fubar 'd it so not sure where to go from here.
will it be easy to put correect way round? or could he of creamed my MAF?
