CF1 and Lambda

CF1 Spider. Can anyone please confirm if dissing the Lambda would normally bring up the warning light.
On going problems with mine, changed lambda and starting to wonder if a wiring fault is present.
On dissing the lambda I'd have expected a warning light on the dash and I do not have that?

I'm fairly sure that on mine even disconnecting the lambda sensor doesn't light the ecu lamp...
