Just thought you guys might be interested to see-
So a month or so after buying it, the juddering clutch and leaking gearbox oil was just too much for me, it had to come appart!!!
Jobs to do-
Clutch change and flywheel skim.
Change various seals, gasket and hoses.
Change balance shaft belts and cambelt.
Polybush front ARB.
Cure gearbox oil leak between box and bellhousing.
Sort a few rust spots underneath (surprisingly rust free, more so than my Volvo!)
Progress so far-
Supported engine and removed front crossmember-
The gearbox is now off, as is the flywheel which is soon to be skimmed. Whilst thats going on i'll be repainting the crossmember and changing the belts.
