Not Happy Alarm problems following break in

Hope you guys (and girls) can help me please.

I have recently had my alfa spider (2003) broken into and various amounts of damage caused, including alarm cut and steering lock damaged.

The insurance company (after much arguing) eventually replaced all the locks and re-connected the alarm. They claim to have matched the keys to the alarm, whilst fitted to the car (but cannot be sure they have done this properly). However, they cannot get the alarm to work and it does not operate the central locking.

I am going to see the vehicle tonight, and will see if the code light is on in the dash.

My question is, if there is any advice on having done this work if there is anything obvious that requires doing, or if there is further damage during the break in. The insurance company want to do as little as possible (Admiral ), but I want to fight this as I pay a lot for my insurance and first time claim in years and I find you don't get much for your money.

Cheers for any help

Get them to install a new system. The origional keys will still do the immobiliser and you will have 2 new fobs for the central locking / alarm.
