GTV 3.0 V6 24v

Now is the time!!

Since I bought my GTV in early January my car life has been a rollercoaster of emotions. Slowly, saving every month a little bit, Ive been able to turn a ruin into a dream. The first day after I bought it it stopped in the middle of the highway, brake pad problem. When that problem was fixed (new Ferodos) I realized the car was braking unstable and shaking so new Brembo discs and Goodridge hoses came to the rescue. During my first short trip the FK shocks blew out so I had to call Koni to help me out. Then a spark plug came loose and finally blew out too, taking the coil with it, that was terrorizing as I thought the headcam broke (the engine was full of oil and sounding horrible). You cant imagine the relief when I found out about the real problem (a long week of suffering) and fixed it right away. Then all the squeaking noises grew much much louder, new rear arms with Powerflex took care of that. A couple weeks ago a bad exhaust note was coming from the manifold (another sensible moment) but finally today we found the hole right inside the manifold, in the welding of the three tubes and we managed to repair it. So now, with my holidays starting in just a few hours, I have my beautiful GTV set and ready to enjoy a long summer of riding passion, cause really, when this car is in good shape, it puts a huge smile on your face when you drive it. So yes, having an Alfa Romeo is a drama but if it wasnt im sure I would never enjoy it as much as im gonna enjoy it now. Keep yours running, it surely is something worth doing!!!! See you on the road
