The respray thing is real brain-ache; Ive been mulling over for about a year... the car looks very good anyway, pretty much the best GTV ive seen condition-wise. The only issues are a fair few stone chips on the front bumper / bonnett; scratches on the edge of the door where its banged walls pre my ownership; very small dings in rear quarters; and a slight colour mismatch between the bumpers front and rear and the rest of the body. It is Nuvola pearlescent (irridescent?) though, so that disguises it a bit. Im just a perfectionist...
I agree 4k is a bit high, but my main concern is getting the job done right, want it to look like new, not like a resprayed car. So its going to Surface & Design in Blackpool, reknowned TVR / Lotus body specialists. I could have got a spray job for 2k easy, but wasnt confident enough to get it done. Would rather have kept the stone chips than had a less than perfect job.
All the ancillaries are mint, I fitted brand new 17" teledials a year ago, and the interior is mint, so it should be like new, though I am very scared . . . If it comes back less than mint I will cry. . .
Re getting a Cup, sorry but I dont like red, i'm from Yorkshire
