Cam Belts / Services and All that Jazz
So according to all of the websites one should now change the cam belt every 33k, so according to my service history i have 3k to go, better swallow the expense as i've only just bought the car and it's fast becoming my pride and joy! I also spoke to a chap who said that i should get the variator done (no history of it being done up to current milage of 79k).
After getting a clutch fixed last week the guys said that i also needed a couple of other bits doing, so i'm getting a service and the reccomended bits done, can anyone advise me if they think these prices are reasonable, and also whether they think getting a variator done is an absolute must, if it appears to have no problems? Also the rubber ceal on the door well is split and frayed, attaching it seems really easy, anyone have one spare for sale?
