Dead Spider

I have a 1999 spider and have had it standing for 18months i have tried to jump start it and there is nothing happening other than the radio and clock are working. no displays or any other sign of life however it sparkes when you connect the jump leads.

I have removed the battery altogether so i know that is not pulling the electrincs down any ideas as i need to move the car back to home to start bringing it back to life.

Initially either fully charge your Battery or get a new one, these cars don't seem keen on jump starting and the sparks you are getting would seem to indicate that the fitted battery is way down.

Ideally remove the battery from the car and give it a long slow charge until it is full then try again.

You may be surprised........
