variator change 2.0ltr TS

i have a gtv currently on 67k miles, the previous owner had the cambelt changed at 57k but obviously had it done on the cheap, as the car now sounds like a van on start up

Does anyone know of a mechanic who would change a cam variator (without cambelt), at a reasonable price?
I live in Cornwall, but would be willing to travel to get the work done.

I currently have the car for sale on piston heads, 2001 reg at £2250, (offers considered with current variator)

For the extra £20, change the cambelt while you're at it. It has to come off to do the job anyway, and they shouldn't be re-used.

You can get away without the idler/tensioner, assuming they were changed previously.
