I have looked through the past posts and saw your post on repairing you red leather using the " Car leather Dye" product. Looked a good repair. your before pics are similar to mine now.
How is this repair looking some time on?
Has the dye paint lifted or pealed and does it need any greater maintinnance or care. compared to the rest of the leather seats?
The colour match on the pictures looked very good. Was it a good match and did you apply the surface coat with sponge or by airbrush? If by the sponge do you wipe on or dab? Just trying to get an idea of the finish the leather dye paint gives. Some of the other kits have to be cleaned with special stuff to get off the previous coatings and then sealed in using a satin laquer. From your report it looks like a one stage process.
Also at some point I may decide to touch up my rear side panels in the back , which I are red but not leather. Do you think this stuff will spray onto the side panels too? Some of the Leather dyes seem to be PU based and cover well, hence they can recolor dark colours to light colours.
