Stiff gearchange

Hi to you all

I'm having a few problems with a very stiff gearchange on my 3 litre GTV. Its ok first to second and third to fourth (and vice versa) but going across the gate, it is very stiff indeed. Copious amounts of WD40 on the end of the cables on top of the box seem to have eased things a bit but it is still not right. Anyone had this experience and any thoughts on resolving it?

By the way - just powerflexed the rear and put on Eibachs - what a transformation. Still on standard shocks but saving up for Konis.

i had the same issue. i just waggled the stick until it was a bit more loose. maybe have a look at the joint at the bottom of the stick under the gaiter? might need a bit of a clear up

it's 2 bushes at the gearbox end, nothing to do with the gearstick.

Best to take it to your local Alfa dealer or specialist. Autolusso can do it for you but it depends where you live?
