Soggy footwell

Hi all after a torrential night in sydney woke up to find a rather soggy footwell on the passenger side of the car, i can see no visible signs where the waters come from and have no sunroof anyone have any similar problems or ideas!

Possibly the seal between the heater/air con inlet and the scuttle/bulkhead just became overwhelmed by the downpour?

Do a search on the tech forum as this has been raised many times.

I had a similar problem with mine but it was "user error" and nothing major. The GF had trapped the seatbelt in the door so the door did not shot properly, this meant that the window did not pop up when the door closed leaving a gap at the top. Since this happened I check that the passenger door is fully shut before leaving her. I hope this is the same problem as yours as it costs nothing!
