Its was an expensive week last week. Fortunatly my friend is like ed china of wheeler dealers (or the guy of scrap heap chalenge, not sure which) and had all garage facilities to hand, which makes hell of a difference. I took 2 days off work and we changed the cambelt, tensioners, aux belt and tensioners, waterpump, clutch slave, thermostat, changed brake fluid, clutch fluid, front pipes and rear exhaust, electric aerial, switch live to the stereo and oil change. Thought I was good to go for a good while, now the clutch has started slipping under power. Back to it but have to find a single mass flywheel first.
Then I think I have got all of the common problems done for a while.
What impressed me was the tricks of the trade that my mate was coming up with, welding up and making tools along the way. Hell off alot better than the old days of axle stands and a halfords socket set in a puddle!
