Front Bumper Removal

With reference to my earlier thread,Killed Bambi Does anyone know what size allen key I need to remove said front bumper?

It does need quite a long reach. I have one usable on a 1/2" socket set with extension.

They are generally super-tight and/or seized. You will need an extension to give you enough torque and luck on your side that they don't shear.

6" extension bar got mine as well. Be ultra-careful that you're not using the headlight glass for leverage when you undo them.

Can't remember if I rattled mine off with the impact gun initially, or just used the long breaker-bar. Probably the latter... Wasn't much of a struggle, and a damn site easier/less fiddly than removing a 156 bumper!

One other tip, undo the electrics to the lights first to avoid the weak plastic of the fogs breaking.

give the bottom of nut some oil too. silly me did it last week oiled the top but bolts is 5 inch long the threads are on at very end omg they where tight use as short of ex bar you can to get as much torque as you can good luck
