08:00 Get in car, start her up (been great - no problems/niggles for almost a year
) and drive to one of the sites I work at
10:00 Arrive at noisy site, park car and go to work
14:00 Unbeknownst to me, battery has gone flat (more on this later)
--- Hometime ---
17:45 Go out to car to leave. Stick key in ignition and turn. Nothing.
I mean absolutely nothing, no turnover noise, not even a single solitary light on dashboard lights up. Look at clock, stopped at 14:00.
Therefore - I can conclude something had drained my battery dead dead within 4 hours (so we are talking about a courtesy light here)
18:00 Get friend to help jump start car. She lives again. Drive home trying not to stall.
19:00 Arrive home, cut ignition. Start car again to check battery is charged. Yup, she restarts first crank beautifully
19:04 Switch car off and start going into flat. Notice loud background noise.
Notice noise coming from the car. Notice noise coming from within engine bay
19:05 Open bonnet and see two radiator fans (twin fan set-up) spinning their nuts off at full blast. Look down and notice car is off and keys are in my hand.
19:08 Switch car off and on again. Fans still at warp-speed.
19:10 Disconnect plugs from fans. Fans stop. Close bonnet and come type this up on AOwner.
Looks like i have to plug in my fans everytime I want to run my car...
