Tramlining, quite severe to the point where the car feels dangerous!
Nik, this did appear to be worse after I had the two new front tyres fitted and the alignment done, however it was only the front that was done and not the rear alignment which from reading on here appears to be quite important that the rear is aligned first. The tyres are fine so shouldn't be the casue.
Harsh ride, especially over broken roads, my 911 rode better. Car may be on original springs and dampers?
As discussed I am not 100% sure, they are definitely OEM springs/dampers but I think have been replaced in the past. Uprating to Koni's etc may help handling but may not improve the harshness of the ride, other's who have done this will be better qualified to answer but also factor in other variables such as whether the upgraded cars also have polybushes or not etc
Uncomfortable seats, I am 6', and am finding it really difficult to get comfortable.
Totally agree on this one, they look lovely but are not comfy.
Seats lack lateral grip, I find myself sliding from side to side during, ahem spirited driving!
Maybe my fault here.....I cleaned them quickly the morning you came to view and wish I hadn't as they were fine! It was quite warm and the cleanser I used may have dried too quickly hence them being a bit slippy. I only normally use luke warm very very slightly soapy water and then just wipe off with an almost dry damp cloth with only water. This should take the edge off the shinyness and bring them back up to their normal finish, it will also improve the grip.
Engine is superb, but needs some more grunt now, where do people start with getting to 300bhp, and is this reliable on stock internals/gearbox?
It is superb and a healthy one from a power perspective. Next step would be a remap via Gus on here, it's already producing good figures so would be interested to see how much more can be had. Another option would be equal length slightly larger bore downpipes, the would equalise the exhaust gas pulses and aid the efficiency of the gases flowing down the exhaust. Expensive option would be internals / supercharger, failing that a cheaper option would be to instal a nitrous oxide kit.
Car is fantastic by the way
