IS there a service hatch to check the clutch on a v6

Hi all,

Just bought a V6 and planning the onslaught of getting the thing up to scratch.

Just wondering if there is a service hatch to open up to have a look at the clutch without separating the engine and box *** there is on some cars.

Will be looking to do a cambelt change for piece of mind, and thought I might combine the two as I am sure lifting the engine ( if the clutch is changed) would give better access for the cambelt change.

If the Clutch is suspect for the long term I would want to go single mass flywheel and GTA clutch. Question is does the standard starter motor do the job or does that have to be changed to match the new flywheel?

Questions questions.

yes there is a view port, in the centre of the gearbox looking from the front of the car. Standard starter motor seems to be OK with single mass flywheel. If you have any questions, try Autolusso (Ned) - they are very helpful.
