Leather seat repair kits?

I have a very small hole appearing in the driver seat bolster and would like to nip it in the bud before it turns into a big rip. I have seen various leather repair kits advertised but a recommendation from someone on here would be good. Has anyone successfully repaired rips in leather seats?

people have had professional repairs done for under 100 (80 iirc) but I don't recall anyone using a repair kit.

I would only deal with professionals if you want a really good job. I tried an online repair kit and although it was ok you will never get the finish of a proper repair.

I am going to invest in this shortly.

Old thread but common problem. Who did you use to repair the bolster on your P1 GTV? In the same boat, but would far rather go to a recommended, alfitsi friendly, professional.

Spread the word, who was it?
Gloucester/Bristol area.

I am still to do anything about mine, was only talking about it to my wife yesterday. Has anyone got any recommendations in East or West Sussex?

I use black Elephant tape. A roll will do me for the rest of the life of the car
