Cry Like A Baby baby got bashed

So just had spent some more money on my baby getting new tyres so feeling like da man in my freshly cleaned car and i am on my way round to a barbie waiting at an Island with a bus behind me , looks a bit close i thought......waiting for a gap in the trafic .......Bang dopey bus driver decided I was going and drove into me and my shiney gtv

Gutted took a few chunks out the bumper and dented the boot could of been worse but still looks a right mess .

Any ideas of the cost of a new bumper and boot ?Would it be able to be filled , once again I am gutted as only just getting all jobs sorted .

I would get professional advice before going too much further. My 156 was rear-ended by an Escort van which was going at little more than walking pace. The rear bumper was split, the boot lid slightly out of line... BUT my car was written off because there was unseen damage to the boot floor. So, get someone at a good bodyshop to look before just brushing it off as an annoying 'accident'... Damage to the bumper by a bus will mean, at the very least, the panel behind the bumper is probably deformed (it's meant to do this to absorb the impact). A bus weighing a ton or three will have major 'stored energy' at walking pace, compared to a lightweight car.

They should be insured as its the local bus company looked like a bran new bus so they should be insured up the wazoo , I have contacted my own insurance so they will contact me monday presumably they will ask me to get a few quotes for the work , just a complete hassle though cause the bus waned to save a few precious seconds*t .
