I've been trying to justify removing much of the money from the "one day I'll own property" fund. I can not do this though. My GTV can not be repaired by myself.
I suppose it would be a decent project car maybe...
I'm just going to list all the bad parts. I'll give it a wash and get some pictures for people to harass me over.
Last year, situations changed for me and as a result I lost interest in... Everything.
As the roads deteriorated I kept driving the car, poor GTV.
New front tyres
New drivers side headlight bulb... (I'd change this but... I'm just not going to drive it anymore)
I believe a passenger side front wishbone, front bushes, etc.
Stereo has loose connection
Aerial is broken
There's a decent sized scrape/dent just before the passenger side rear wheelarch.
Cambelt done at 108,000 service. HOWEVER, variator is on the way out. You know what that means.
In the last week, there's been a hell of a rattly sound from exhaust area, drivers side I think? Heatshield? Light metally rattling noise...
There's not really any plus points.
It's taxed and MOT'd 'til late October. (Wow)
Interior is ok I guess, needs heavily cleaned.
Has all the keys, incl. Brown master.
Full service history up to (including) 108,000 miles. It's at 113,000ish now.
I've lost my love of cars and, well, stuff in general. It'll end up scrapped if no-one wants it, certainly my prayers for it to catch fire were not answered.
I dunno, someone could make some cash breaking it? Others who're not bitter and filled with resent could fix it?
£100 if you want it and can be bothered with Aberdeen.
Phase 1, "P" Silver Twinspark.
Half leather seats. (The ones with Alfa all over the cloth section)
I don't really know what I've just typed. Feel free to ask all the questions in the world.
I'll post up the work it's had done to it over the last year.
