Jumping temperature gauge and blower
I was innocently fumbling around under the bonnet near the thermostat this morning when I must have inadvertently knocked something as I now have two interior issues to contend with.
Having previously been totally reliable, the temp gauge is jumping all over the place regardless of the actual engine temperature. It looks like it is shorting out but I can't see where. How far back do I need to follow the lead to work out where the short is?
The other problem is that the blower is now cutting in and out at random. The speed settings all work OK and power is good when it works. Again, I feel like there's a dodgy connection somewhere. Whereabouts should I be looking? Are these two problems related or is it just coincidental?
