Quick Question

Got In my car this morning and my clutch pedal has gone straight to the floor.

Have not got my manual with me,

How do you bleed the clutch on a V6

if it has gone suddenly i would check the slave cylinder which sits on the gear box, it can be seen from above, check for leaks at the seal end. tbh i would just change the cylinder as this is 99% of the problem.

clutch slave cylinder m8 paid 90 quid supply an fitted an 2 come round 2 do it so u looking anything upto 120 130 quid poss

I would put my money on the slave cylinder. New ones don't cost a fortune so you may as well change it. If you really need to drive it, prying the clutch pedal up again and pumping the pedal a few times should make it return to normal. Mine is on the way out and that's what I have to do twice a day!

Agree with slave cylinder diagnosis and luckily for you they sit outside of the bell housing on a V6 and are therefore quite (relatively speaking) easy to change.

Agree with all of the above comments.
I had the slave cylinder go on my old 146, the very helpful and friendly RAC man told me the pumping the clutch pedal trick which gave me enough use to get to WAD.
