Swapping driver and passenger seats??

I just wondered if anyone had done this?

I think it would balance the wear on the leather - and the passenger's side bits on mine or firmer and retain there shape better.

The leather on the driver's seat is soft and supple - whereas that on the passenger's is getting very stiff.

What do you think? Is it easy? or is it just a silly idea?

There's a hole in the wrong side of the seat for moving the seat back.

I was thinking of trying to get a RHS seat out of a scrap LHD European car. But I had no idea how to start doing that. Also, my seat cleaned up reasonably nicely, so I thought I'd keep it.
